  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup cooked crumbled turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1 inch and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown; remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms, green bell pepper, and onion for 5-7 minutes until tender. Add crumbled turkey bacon and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Place seared chicken in a baking dish. Top each piece with the vegetable mixture, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and drizzle ranch dressing over the top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Let rest before serving.
