  • 8 oz smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining them. Slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces and cut the broccoli into smaller florets. Mince the garlic.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast for about 15 minutes until slightly crispy.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and cook the sausage for 3-4 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque; avoid overcooking.
  5. Lower heat and add butter to melt. Stir in garlic; sauté until fragrant then mix in honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes; let simmer until thickened.
  6. Combine sausage and roasted broccoli in the skillet with shrimp; toss until well-coated in sauce.
