  • 1 box favorite cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy melts
  • Toppings (sprinkles, candy eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 13 x 9 baking pan with vegetable spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil. Beat until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let cool, then crumble the cake into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  5. Mix in frosting until well combined and form into balls.
  6. Chill cake balls in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
  7. Melt candy melts in intervals until smooth.
  8. Dip sticks in melted candy before inserting them into cake balls; chill again to set.
  9. Dip each pop into the melted candy melts and decorate as desired.
