  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Stir until fully mixed.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in molasses and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, ground ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
