  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup hot coffee
  • 2 cups shredded phyllo dough (kataifi)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup pistachio cream
  • 4 oz chocolate bar
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, egg, milk, oil, and hot coffee until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the pan and bake for about 25 minutes. Cool before removing from the pan.
  4. In a pan, toast chopped kataifi with butter until golden. Mix in pistachio cream.
  5. For ganache, microwave chocolate and heavy cream until melted and smooth.
  6. Spread the pistachio mixture on the cooled cake and pour ganache on top.
