  • 175g plain flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 300ml full-fat milk
  • 6 rashers turkey bacon
  • 12 chipolata sausages
  • 2 onions
  • 200g sage and onion stuffing
  • 200g Brussels sprouts
  • 25g butter
  • 500ml chicken stock
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chopped thyme leaves
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220C/200C Fan/Gas 7.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, eggs, milk, and Dijon mustard until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Wrap each sausage with turkey bacon and roast in oil with onion wedges and stuffing for 20 minutes.
  4. Prepare gravy by sautéing onions in butter and olive oil, adding stock, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoning.
  5. Add Brussels sprouts to roasting tin and pour batter around sausages before baking for another 20–25 minutes until golden.
