  • 2 tablespoons cherry preserves
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate, shaved or grated

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and heavy cream; beat until fluffy.
  2. Add amaretto liqueur, cherry juice, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Fold in sugar mixed with cherry preserves and chopped cherries.
  4. Quickly dip ladyfingers in a mixture of amaretto and cherry juice; layer them in a baking dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers; repeat layers.
  6. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving; dust with cocoa powder just before serving.
