  • 1 package pre-made croissant dough (8 croissants)
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box vanilla pudding mix (instant)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for even baking.
  2. Unroll the croissant dough and cut it into triangles as instructed on the package.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Fold in powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Place a tablespoon of pastry cream at the wider end of each triangle and roll tightly from base to tip.
  5. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. For the glaze, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until boiling; stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
  7. Once cooled slightly, dip the tops of croissants into the chocolate glaze and let set.
